An artificially intelligent vehicle: that traverses a terrain and discusses with passengers the improbabilities, precarities, future narratives and weather of the land they travel upon.
A collection of unreliable and reliable narrators and sources with fast internet.
The word Bellwether has a dual meaning: it is an early indicator of future trend, and the lead sheep in a flock.
Bellwether was made in person on Country, on verandas, in cars, and virtually with a fantastic collection of local people including Jock Graham, Director of @Wi-sky Pete Beath, local Wiradjuri partner: Jill and Rick Baldwin, Rachel Lenehan, George and Chris Main, Louise Freckleton, Phil Bowden and students from Sacred Heart Central School Cootamundra.
An interactive artificially intelligent sound-based artwork in a moving car, that’s co-written with these and other local legends.
The first stage development of this work was supported by Cryptic, Scotland.
